| Meimen Qigong and Culture Center was founded by Lee Feng-San Shifu* in 1989. The mission of this center is to promote traditional Chinese qigong yangshengshu—a system of internal self-cultivation and external exercises that helps develop the human mind and the human body to their full potentials.

Different qigong courses are provided in the center, including basic qigong for beginners, recovery qigong for the handicapped, and higher-level qigong for advanced students. Different courses on Chinese gongfu are also taught here, including Tai-Chi-Chuan (Shadow Boxing), Shao-Ling-Chuan, Tai-Chi Fencing, Chinese Massage, Children’s Martial Arts, etc. Courses taught in traditional methods are offered on various levels. Students start with the basic techniques of breathing control and body control, and move on to an advanced study of mental control. These courses teach each learner how to practice traditional Chinese qigong yangshengshu in their daily lives at their own pace. Meimen Qigong and Culture Center seeks every opportunity to introduce Chinese qigong and cultural tradition to the public. Its mission is to not only preserve these valuable cultural heritages from ancient China, but also make it accessible to more people so that they can benefit from this wonderful tradition. We hope to help people all over the world attain long-term health of the mind and the body, thus creating a peaceful and better world. Though our will remains strong in advocating world peace and promoting traditional Chinese qigong, we also know that our goals will not be achieved without help from other thinking people in the world. Your help will doubtless contribute to the final realization of world unity and peace. All the support we get will form a tremendous collective force to move us toward our goals. |
